I don’t know about you, but I’m currently curled up with a blanket by the fire while the kids play their games and my husband watches a car chase on Youtube 🤣 Sweet, relaxing, carefree bliss. I used to collapse on the weekend after a week of chaos: work, rushing the kids around, running out of milk midweek 🤦🏻♀️, and let’s not forget last minute dinner decisions. I’m ashamed to say that it took me a good 10 years to learn that just a wee bit of planning could save me some headaches and whole lot of time! So, planning is great… but that’s not the simple step I’m referring to: The real game changer for me was doing just a wee bit of prep in a few different areas, like getting my clothes ready for the week, making sure the car had gas, checking the calendar and marking down when the routine would be adjusted, and… Making a meal plan and prepping a few things ahead of time. You might not know this, but I have another Youtube Channel called Minimalist Home Living. On this channel, it’s all about simple living, cooking, preserving & prepping it, and general home stuff. Earlier this week, I posted this video about how to save loads of time with a bit of preparing. So, grab a cup of tea and come hang out with me to see how I can save time with some prepping.
